Dr. Marjon is a Double Board-Certified and Dual-Fellowship Trained dermatologist with expertise in four key areas: General Dermatology, Mohs Micrographic Surgery, Pediatric Dermatology, and Clinical Trials & Research. She completed her dermatology residency at a highly competitive program in New York City, followed by a faculty appointment at Brown University, where she served as Director of Nail Surgery & Special Procedures. Dr. Marjon is actively involved in academic dermatology, with over 30 peer-reviewed publications, national speaking engagements, and committee roles within the American Academy of Dermatology, Women’s Dermatologic Society, and the Dermatologic Society of Orange County.
Currently practicing at Irvine Dermatology, Dr. Marjon also serves as President of the Dermatologic Society of Orange County (since January 2025), where she focuses on growing the society’s presence, increasing membership, and expanding CME opportunities for fellow dermatologists.

Dr. Michelle Aszterbaum
co-Vice President
Dr. Michelle Aszterbaum is a board certified Dermatologist based in Newport Beach, CA, serving the greater Orange County area. She founded The Dermatology Center of Newport Beach in 2019 and has been recognized as an Orange County Physician of Excellence.
She earned her MD at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine, completed her internship at Harvard Medical School’s Massachusetts General Hospital, and her dermatology residency at UCSF. Dr. Aszterbaum then pursued a research fellowship in skin cancer genetics, where she published extensively and developed the ASZ001 cell line, now widely used in skin cancer research. She is well known for performing MOHs Surgery (also known as Skin Cancer Surgery).
Dr. Aszterbaum holds an appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) and is Past President of the Orange County Dermatological Society. She has been practicing Dermatology, Dermatologic Surgery, and Laser Therapeutics in Newport Beach since 2001.

Dr. Michelle Min
co-Vice President
Dr. Min is the Director of Rheumatologic Dermatology at the University of California Irvine School of Medicine. Prior to her career in medicine, she double majored in biochemistry and biology with a minor in history at the University of Pennsylvania. She graduated as a Vagelos Life and Molecular Life Sciences Scholar, researching with a Howard Hughes Medical Institution Investigator, with whom she earned her master’s degree in chemistry. She then went on to complete her medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine. She completed her dermatology residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York as a chief resident. Ultimately, she pursued a fellowship in dermatology-rheumatology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital with the world-renowned expert in dermatomyositis, Dr. Ruth Ann Vleugels.
Dr. Min is currently on the executive board of the Rheum Derm Society and the Orange County Dermatologic Society. She specializes in psoriasis, lupus, systemic sclerosis, morphea, Raynaud’s disease, and dermatomyositis. She has been invited to speak at several national and international conferences, recently with the distinctions of Emerging Thought Leader and Rising Derm Star.

Dr. Lucas Bingham
Treasurer
Lucas G. Bingham, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist experienced in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. At Coastal Hills Dermatology in Ladera Ranch, California, Dr. Bingham offers patients exceptional dermatologic care in a relaxed and friendly environment. With his depth of knowledge and compassion, Dr. Bingham treats patients of all ages for any condition of the skin, hair, and nails.
Dr. Bingham began his studies at Brigham Young University, where he graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and a minor in zoology. He went on to earn his medical degree from Penn State College of Medicine followed by a transitional-year internship at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. After this, Dr. Bingham completed a three-year dermatology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Passionate about helping patients both at home and abroad, Dr. Bingham has performed volunteer medical care to patients in Brazil, Italy, Ethiopia, and Kenya. Dr. Bingham also has notable experience in the field of research and leadership. He has published studies and reports in several prominent medical journals, has presented at national and international meetings, and has served as the president of the Dermatologic Society of Orange County.He is also an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the Pacific Dermatologic Society.
Outside of the office, Dr. Bingham enjoys spending time with his large family. He also loves being active outdoors, especially running, road and mountain biking, pickleball, hiking, backpacking, skiing, and stand-up paddle surfing. Dr. Bingham lived in South America for several years and is fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Jessie Hou
President Emeritus
Dr. Hou is a board-certified dermatologist and a fellowship-trained, board-certified Mohs surgeon. She received her medical degree from Yale School of Medicine. She subsequently trained at several prestigious hospitals in New York City and California. She practices the full scope of dermatology. Medically, she manages a wide range of skin conditions, including moles, eczema, psoriasis, skin infections, ringworm, rashes, hair and nail disorders, and many others.
Dr. Hou has a long-standing passion for fighting skin cancer. Mohs micrographic surgery is the most effective method for removing skin cancers. She trained in Mohs surgery and facial plastic reconstruction under world-renowned surgeons during her fellowship in Mohs Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology at the University of California, Irvine. She also performs other dermatologic procedures to treat many benign and malignant skin conditions.
Dr. Hou also holds a PhD degree in cancer research from Rutgers University of New Jersey.

Dr. Nathan Rojek
President Emeritus
Dr. Nathan Rojek is a board-certified UCI Health dermatologist who treats patients for general and complex dermatologic disorders, including chronic inflammatory skin diseases (e.g. atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, urticaria, hidradenitis), severe cutaneous adverse reactions to medications, and those caused by infectious diseases (including HIV).
Dr. Rojek earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He completed a residency in dermatology at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland.
His research interests include inpatient consultative dermatology, DRESS syndrome, Stevens-Johnson syndrome / toxic epidermal necrolysis, infectious diseases, and medical education. He has authored numerous research papers published in peer-reviewed journals and he has given presentations at many regional and national dermatology conferences.

Dr. Adam Rotunda
Historian
Adam M. Rotunda, M.D., is a double board-certified dermatologist (Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Surgery) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a fellowship trained Mohs micrographic and reconstructive surgeon in the American College of Mohs Surgery, and Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) School of Medicine. Dr. Rotunda graduated from Cornell University summa cum laude with Honors in Nutritional Sciences and was Valedictorian at his medical school, the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Medical Center, in Brooklyn, NY. He was a Resident in Dermatology at UCLA and subsequently completed a fellowship in skin cancer and dermatologic surgery under the tutelage of Richard G. Bennett, M.D., in Santa Monica, CA. He practices exclusively skin cancer removal and reconstructive surgery in Newport Beach, CA. Dr. Rotunda has lectured national and international physician conferences and has authored over 50 original and review scientific papers as well as book chapters. Dr. Rotunda has a thriving private practice in Newport Beach, CA and is frequently sought after as a consultant to the dermatologic pharmaceutical industry.
